ЁЯЪА GSLV-F16/NISAR Launch – Witness History in the Making! ЁЯМН

On July 30, 2025, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are set to make history with the launch of the NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite aboard GSLV-F16. This landmark joint mission is designed to observe and monitor Earth’s natural processes with unmatched accuracy.

ЁЯФм What is NISAR?

NISAR stands for NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar. It is the world’s first dual-frequency radar imaging satellite, utilizing L-band radar (by NASA) and S-band radar (by ISRO) to study Earth in unprecedented detail.

The satellite will scan the entire Earth every 12 days, providing high-resolution data on land movements, ice cover, vegetation, oceans, and natural disasters.

ЁЯОп Key Objectives of the Mission

  • Detect and monitor ground movements before earthquakes and landslides

  • Track melting glaciers and ice sheet changes

  • Monitor forest cover, agriculture, and soil moisture

  • Study long-term climate change and its impact

  • Support disaster management and relief efforts

ЁЯЪА About GSLV-F16

The Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F16) is ISRO’s powerful rocket designed to carry heavy and advanced satellites like NISAR into a geosynchronous transfer orbit. It represents India’s technological strength in space exploration.

ЁЯУЕ Launch Details

  • Date: July 30, 2025

  • Live Coverage Begins: 5:10 PM IST | 11:40 AM UTC

  • Liftoff Time: 5:40 PM IST | 12:10 PM UTC

  • Watch Live: https://youtu.be/OgC1MxtCwq4

ЁЯМР A Symbol of Global Cooperation

This mission marks a milestone in international collaboration, blending NASA’s cutting-edge radar technology with ISRO’s proven launch capabilities. NISAR will contribute immensely to Earth sciences and global environmental monitoring.

ЁЯУг Why You Should Watch

This is more than just a satellite launch—it’s a leap forward in Earth observation and scientific research. The data from NISAR will aid governments, researchers, and disaster-response teams worldwide.

ЁЯФФ Don’t Miss It!

Be a witness to this incredible moment in space history.
Tune in live and celebrate the spirit of science and global partnership!
